Hi, I’m Wendy … and I’m addicted to paper!  I live in a suburb of  Phoenix, AZ with my fiance and with some of our combined 4 kids – how many are with us depends on the day of the week and the time of the year! lol  They range in age from 23 down to 17 – 2 boys and 2 girls, so it’s always an adventure with a full house.  In addition to designing hybrid templates and cutting files, I work a day job and run the Booster Club for my son’s high school marching band.  The picture above is me working concessions at the Phoenix Cardinals NFL game – a fundraiser that is a lot of work, but fun – it allowed me to be at the Super Bowl in 2015!

I started paper scrapbooking after my son was born 17 years ago, but I found that I didn’t have the time or space to keep up with the mess and so I only got a handful of pages done (and they are pretty hideous!).  I discovered digital scrapping in early 2009 and was immediately addicted!  It didn’t take long before I got the paper bug again and delved into hybrid crafting.  I started selling my hybrid templates in 2010 and haven’t looked back since!

I’ve always been artsy and have been in the middle of one craft or another for as long as I can remember.  As a kid, I did ceramics and tole painting, watercolor and oil painting, my mom taught me how to cross stitch and my grandma tried to teach me how to knit.  It didn’t stick but I still have it on my crafty bucket list but I did learn to crochet a couple of years ago (you can find me on Ravelry here).

I’m an avid reader.  At any given time I have 2-3 books in progress.  One that I’m reading on my Nook and at least one audiobook.

I am a full on Planner Girl – writing out my To Do lists and schedules by hand helps keep me focused.  (You can find my planner charms in my Etsy shop!)

It comes down to finding what makes you happy and making time to do it!
Have Fun with Hybrid and Happy Crafting!
